My wife and I went to South Padre Island with Peter and Debbie (my brother and sister-in-law) for the Labor Day weekend.  It was absolutely great. We went on Pirate and Happy Hour cruises and Bay Fishing.  Got way too much to eat and had too much sun.  As I held the fishing rod in my hand waiting for something to bite, I kept on noticing the clouds, their movements and colors and the waves splashing on the jetties.  Kept thinking about and seeing the colors and values of the subjects in my next paintings as they were being developed in front of me eyes.  Then, I heard the captain's loud voice uttering "keep your eyes on the fishing"..... Expect a few paintings of what I saw very soon.  Hope you enjoy them.
